EU could force new laws on UK. A report obtained by the Daily Telegraph has revealed that the UK could be forced to accept 37 EU Directives during a two-year transition after Brexit. Among the directives, one could compel Britain to increase its recycling levels from 44% to as much as 70%. This would require separate bins for food waste, garden waste and recycling for all households. The report reveals that five directives have a “high likelihood of materialising” while nine are highly likely to be implemented.
